There’s A Scientific Reason You Like Dyeing Your Hair So Much
Did you change the color of your hair upward of five times in 2015 when you knew deep down you should probably leave it alone?
Even if you did it just once, we’ve got some valuable information for you: You can actually get addicted to dyeing your hair.
Skeptical? Psychologist Dr. Vivian Diller explained to Teen Vogue,
Everyday activities like eating, drinking, working, sports and shopping can become habit-forming. So it is with hair dyeing.
Although dyeing your hair frequently isn’t great for your strands, your hair-dyeing addiction probably isn’t something you need to worry about too much.
In fact, there are plenty of other reasons you could enjoy dyeing your hair so much — like boredom.
Or, if you tend to go for bright colors, you may be someone who enjoys standing out from the crowd.
Plus, one study by Nottingham Trent University found after a dye job, women had increased confidence, felt more sexually excited and were more rebellious.
In other words, dyeing your hair a lot isn’t that bad. And if you’re looking for a new look for 2016, there are plenty of options out there.
Like peacock feathers and granny strands.
Those are some seriously awesome trends if you ask me.
