Sometimes when something is new to you, the best thing to do is find a little makeup hack until you get a feel for it without it. And everyone has one of these in her kitchen! Here’s how to draw a basic cut crease:

TOOLS:

• A Matte Shadow Palette — I used this favorite matte palette ($$) but also love this one ($).
• An Eye Contour Brush ($$)
• A Blending Brush ($)
• A Spoon!
• Your Favorite Mascara — I used this one ($$) for incredible coating and separation.
