The collaboration is due for November, but you have to hurry to get your suggestions in.

Time flies by, doesn’t it? Here we are, halfway through the designated sweet potato month – soon it’ll be Halloween month, and then…it’ll be winter! And just last year we celebrated the chilly seasons with our favorite Poképal Pikachu, thanks to a tie-in promotion with the Mister Donut chain.

In case you missed the chance to chow down on Pikachu’s adorably chubby cheeks, take heart! Mister Donut (or Misdo as it’s often nicknamed) is planning another seasonal tie-in for the end of 2019, having already set up a website announcing that more news will come out on November 15.

What we know so far is that the popular debatably adorable Pikachu and Pokéball donuts will return for another round, as well as a spread of delicious new donuts that people of all ages can enjoy. And one of those new donuts was showcased on the page…as well as a plea to help the staff name it.

“Can your submission help name the new Pikachu French Cruller?!

Step One: Follow the official Mister Donut account (@misterdonut_jp)
Step Two: Send a submission with the hashtag #新しいドーナツの名前募集チュウ (#HelpPikaCHOOSEANameForOurNewDonut)”

We took a peek at the state of current submissions to see what name we might be forced to utter in our November order. Oh my…

“Pikachu’s Butt Hole”
“Thunderbolt”
“Pikabutt”
“Crullerbolt”
“Donutchu”
“Tastybolt”
“Frenchuu”
“Pika★Cru”

Well, while we wait for Mister Donut to release the might of Pikachu’s Butt Hole (working title) we can wander into any of the ubiquitous Mister Donut stores across Japan for a taste of our current season. Mmm, sweet potato!
