Japan’s pervert superhero and his muscular buttocks are back!

It’s no secret that we have a soft spot in our hearts for the weirder side of Japanese cinema. From literal crotch rockets to the cinematic beauty that is Wild Zero, there’s no shortage of excellent B-grade (or even Z-grade) films from Japan to be enjoyed. And perhaps one of the most popular is Hentai Kamen (literally “Pervert Mask”), a martial artist superhero who wears panties over his face as a mask, like Kamen Rider but with more references to golden balls.

The manga and film were a hit with audiences, so it should be no surprise that a sequel, titled Hentai Kamen: The Abnormal Crisis, is set to open on May 14. And now, in advance of the film’s debut, a trailer has been released!

Apparently this time around, Hentai Kamen will be facing a world devoid of panties. We’re not sure how that will affect his superheroics, but you can still count on Ryohei Suzuki, the actor portraying the pervert superhero, to be ripped. Suzuki stated in an interview that he’s gotten even bigger since the last film and that his goal was to have a physique that could stand alongside any American superhero. We’d say he succeeded — in fact, now we really want to see a crossover between Japan’s masked pervert and Marvel’s masked pervert Deadpool!
