In the Winter, our tans have faded and we’re rocking our real skin tones. And the paler we become, the more perfect a backdrop for blush to show up and stand out! I love to mimic a chilly flush, apres ski style, and switch from peach or pink to a rosy romantic blush. And I prefer cream blush to powder blush in winter because our skin is drier, and I’ve found rose shades translate better in cream textures than powder. Here’s all you need to know:

OUR FAVES:

For a rosy flush, smile to pop the apples of your cheeks then instead of just placing the blush on the apples, swirl it over the apples, cheekbones and a bit of the hollows to really mimic what happens when you’re blushing in the cold.
