Adult VR game VR Kanojo is ready to show off a new feature that lets gamers smell the character’s stockings.

It was only last year when the world of gaming was forever changed with the introduction of virtual reality games. As soon as the revolution began, PlayStation VR’s tutor-a-schoolgirl game, Summer Lesson, immediately enticed gamers into the VR world, but just as people started pining for ways to peep up the skirt of Summer Lesson‘s schoolgirl character, VR Kanojo came in and stole the show by blatantly offering gamers the chance to experience virtual sex.

The VR Kanojo or VR Girlfriend game, developed by Japanese company Illusion, goes far beyond what Summer Lesson offers in terms of physical interaction, with scenes that include nudity, vibrators, foreplay, and sex. Said to be based on Illusion’s 2010 Real Kanojo game, the explicit nature of the new title created a stir when it was released, and now they’re attempting to take the virtual reality experience one step further again, this time by adding smell to the gameplay.

By combining the gameplay of VR Kanojo with the Vaqso VR, a device that magnetically attaches to any type of VR headset and pumps out scent near the gamer’s nostrils, Illusion is now offering gamers the chance to smell the main character’s pantyhose while playing the game.

Though we’re not sure what type of scent that equates to, curious gamers wanting to try the experience will be able to do so at the Unite 2017 Tokyo event being held in Japan’s capital from 8-9 May.

Tokyo-based startup Vaqso, who created the Vaqso VR, will be promoting their product at the Illusion booth during the event. Unlike the fart-producing smells provided by Oculus’ Nosulus Rift, the Vaqso VR is able to produce a variety of aromas, with cartridges containing the scent of fried chicken, the dusty cloud of a battlefield, and the fragrance of a woman who just stepped out of a bath.

If you’d like to experience the scent of a girl’s stockings, tickets to the Unite 2017 Tokyo event can be purchased from the official site, with a 2-day Expo ticket costing 3,000 yen (US$27.26). VR Kanojo is compatible with the Oculus Rift CV1 or HTC Vive headsets and is available from the Illusion download website for 4,980 yen.
