Alex Hopkins surprised his beautiful bride-to-be Erin Behrmann with a proposal straight out of a romantic comedy.

Alex, a musician, decorated the living room in white fairy lights, while a bouquet of roses and bottle of champagne adorned the coffee table. As Erin entered the apartment, “46th and Bliss,” the very first song he composed for his beautiful bride, began to play.

Dressed in a jacket and bowtie, holding a single rose, he proposed.

Erin and Alex tied the knot at City Hall in Manhattan.

The couple captured a breathtaking cityscape in their photos on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Erin looked was a vision in her Badgley Mischka wedding dress. She found all of her beautiful accessories, along with her dress, on Rent the Runway.

As Erin embraced her handsome groom on the Brooklyn Bridge. The romantic New York City moment could not have looked any more perfect.

The bride's bouquet coordinated perfectly with both her dress and the day's art deco vibe.

The couple's reception dinner took place at The Palm West Restaurant, where Erin works as the venue's dining room manager.

It’s also the spot where Alex and Erin met for the very first time.

The delicious show stealer of the reception was an oversize cupcake, baked specifically for the couple to enjoy.

Mini cupcakes for guests were provided by Crumbs, one of Erin’s favorite bakeries in New York City. Who could blame her?

A grand tree decorated with cupcakes filled the reception room.

The bride’s mother-in-law found the cupcakes in Sydney and brought them back as a special treat for the big day.

The couple's favorite part of the day? Taking photos in the subway.

Cheers to the happy couple, Alex and Erin. For more unique weddings, visit Tie The Knot.
